I just admire when 2 authors get together to be creative and give us a story that just go above and beyond of what's available out there.  You get L.P. Dover and Heidi McLaughlin's imagination put in the same book.  Dark Room was provided in exchange of a spoiler free and honest review.  This is my 4 X stars for this scorching hot romance.  This was a highly anticipated story.

I won't go in too much details because I don't want to give anything away, so I'll be very brief.

Parker is a wealthy businessman who decides to see what the Dark Room is all about.  We have Mia who on a whim, decides that she also wants to give the Dark Room a chance.  Thrown in together, they will make you blush with all these scorching hot steamy scenes.  But underneath all that, there is a story that goes way back.  When it's meant to be, no matter which path the person chooses, it will lead them back together.  It's called Fate.

I went into this story blindly, I had no idea what to expect but after one fourth in, it was fairly predictable.  The idea, the concept was well thought out.  The characters were very engaging.  They meshed well together and had a lot of chemistry going around.  I think it could be a great start for a potential series, because some of the other characters could make a great story.  This story was so addictive and very entertaining that I had a difficult time putting it down once I started.  Nicely written.

This story is told in an alternating POV with an HEA.  I highly recommend this book.  If the readers were wondering if it's a dark romance?  Well it's not, it's all consensual and there is no kinky things happening.  Other titles from these authors are worth the time and money.
